
Islamic Studies
We are thrilled to introduce our young learners to the teachings of Islam in a way that is fun, engaging, and appropriate for their age. Our curriculum is designed to nurture curiosity and instill a love for Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and the basics of Islam, all while creating a warm, positive, and interactive learning environment.
Curriculum Overview
This curriculum is specifically tailored to toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarten children. It introduces foundational Islamic concepts in a way that is simple, fun, and developmentally appropriate. Children will learn about Tawhid (the oneness of Allah), the Seerah (life) of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and basic Arabic. Through stories, activities, and interactive lessons, we aim to plant seeds of Islamic knowledge and love in their hearts from an early age.
Toddlers
In our Toddler Islamic Studies Program, children will start to learn the basics of Islam enjoyably and simply. They will be introduced to Tawhid (the oneness of Allah) through stories of Allah’s beautiful creations like the sun, animals, and trees. Toddlers will also begin to learn common Islamic phrases like “Bismillah” (In the name of Allah) before eating and “Assalamu Alaikum” (Peace be upon you) when greeting others. Through short stories and interactive activities, they will start developing an early understanding of Allah’s love and kindness.
Preschoolers
Preschoolers will begin to deepen their understanding of Tawhid and will learn that Allah is the Creator of everything. They will explore the Seerah (life) of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through simple stories about his kindness, honesty, and love for children and animals. Preschoolers will also start to learn Arabic letters, They will learn the first few letters like “Alif” (ا), “Ba” (ب), and “Ta” (ت),. This will be taught through repetition, and playful activities, helping them connect with the language of Islam in a meaningful way.​
Pre-K
In Pre-K, children will start to dive deeper into Arabic by learning the Arabic alphabet thoroughly. They will learn to build small words and associate them with familiar words like “Allah” and “Bismillah.” They will also continue to build on their knowledge of Islamic concepts, including the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), learning more stories about his life, and how he showed kindness to everyone. Pre-K children will also practice learning morning duas to use in their daily routines. Through games and crafts, they will develop a strong foundation in both the Arabic language and Islamic manners.
